Session leaders

This is the area where you can become the mentor that changes a child’s life. Our only qualifications are these; be at least 18 years of age, love kids, and most importantly… love Jesus. The rest we can teach you. Minimal hours are once a week, twice a month (2 hours for each day / total of four hours a month). Our ranch season runs August through June.

 

Program ranch hands

We need Program Volunteers anytime Monday through Friday and the hours are very flexible. This position is designed to assist the Program Manager in preparing and improving their assigned area and curriculum. We offer this opportunity year around. Below are the programs we offer.

  • Equine
  • Petting Zoo 
  • Horticulture
  • Crafting/Woodworking 
  • Sport and Games

 

Communication ranch hands

This area is year around and focuses on the purpose of reaching out to the community in the form of the following;

  • Newsletters and Updates
  • Blogs
  • Social Media
  • Photography
  • Video
  • Calling Community Organizations
  • Promotion/Marketing

 

 Office ranch hands

This area focuses on the indoor administrative operations and needs. Tasks are the following. Knowledge in all areas are not needed to volunteer. Hours are Monday thru Friday, August through June.

  • Accounting
    • Filing and organizing
    • Appointment scheduling/Admission follow-up
    • Creating forms
    • Public interaction
    • Computer knowledge, hardware and software
     

Facility ranch hands

 

This area is very diverse from specialized needs to every day facility upkeep. The key word that describes this area is “RANCH”! Yes, we are a ranch that is growing and this involves work and constant upkeep.  We have detailed project and weekly duties that need to be performed. You will be working alongside the director and involved in so many areas of possibility. We have such an amazing and exhausting vision for this ranch and its students.  This will take an amazing group of volunteers – called by God – but it can be accomplished! If you would like to be part of this team, then let’s do it!!  Below are some of the following areas where you can help.

    • Grounds keeping (priority)
    • Janitorial/Housekeeping (priority)
    • Maintenance
    • Construction
    • Landscaping
    • Painting
    • Project Leader
    • Project Assistant
    • Project Helper
    • Electrical/Plumbing
    • Animal Care (experienced)
     

Hospitality ranch hands

This is a gifted area in the ministry.  It is also unique in the possibilities of how one serves. These volunteers range from outgoing personalities to the more quiet who work best behind the scenes.  We love these people because they make us who we want to be here at Crown Valley… “A well-oiled machine” by serving God in every opportunity He gives us. Below are those opportunities.

  • Music / Worship leading/jamborees/sound
