Plant Markers

Hi friends,

I’ve come to find that there are really two best ways to make plant markers. I tested out other options, but over time they would break or the paint would wear off in the sunlight and rain.

Paint Rocks

Find small rocks and either paint the name on them or paint a picture of your produce, you can even use sharpie or a paint pen. Let it dry really well and then lacquer with an outdoor coat. Place it in the right square of your 4×4 garden box.

Paint Popsicle Sticks

If you plant large plants it’s best to make the Popsicle stick signs so that they stick out of the ground a little bit. Glue 3-4 Popsicle sticks together by attaching 2 sticks to the back. These will be your legs. Paint or sharpie them and lacquer them really well as they bleed when they get wet.

                                                                                                                Enjoy crafting!
